परिचय :
नेपालमा स्वास्थ्यकर्मिहरुको तालिम तथा उत्पादनको ईतिहास पहिलो पटक बि स १९९१ (सन् १९३४) सालमा सिभिल मेडिकल स्कुलको {Civil Medical School} को स्थापना गरी कम्पाउन्डर (compounder) र ड्रेसर (Dresser) को तालिमबाट स्वास्थ्यकर्मिहरुको उत्पादन शुरु भएको हो । त्यसपछी २०१३ (सन् १९५६) सालमा सिभिल मेडिकल स्कुललाई समेत गाभेर हेल्थ असिस्टेन्ट स्कुल (Health Assistant School) बनाइयो र त्यसको छ बर्षपछी २०१९ (सन् १९६२) सालमा काठमाडौंमा असिस्टेण्ट हेल्थ वर्कर स्कुल (Assistant health worker school) को बिस्तार गरियो।
